Currently, my sitter brings her 16 month old and she watches my DS. We love her (and her daughter) and would love for her to continue with us after we have #2. She has worked at a few day cares before so she can handle multiple kids and her daughter is very independent. If she accepts, should I offer a pay increase? And how much of an increase is usually given?
Re: Question about paying sitter to watch 2 kids.
I'm a nanny and a couple of dollars two or three an hour, I think is fair for adding a 2nd kid. She's watching two right now and adding a third doesn't make that much more work for a sitter. I worth with three little ones (three all under the age of three) its a lot of work but adding one more doesn't make that much more work once you past two.
