f/u lost mucus plug at 26 wks

I posted over the weekend that I lost my mucus plug, called the on-call OB and was told not to worry. I called my OB/peri on Monday and they had me come in today.

Cervix looks fine, has shortened a bit, but not enough for concern at this point (its just over 3 cm). However, I have been told to 'take it easy' b/c the last thing they want to see is twins born at 26 weeks. Sigh.

    OMG please take it easy!  That is quite scary.   I hope you can go 10 more weeks or so without any other issuses!

    How scary!  So they confirmed that it was indeed your MP?

    Glad the babies are OK.  And definitely take it easy.  Hang in there!


    After 2 rounds of IVF & 2 rounds of FET, we were blessed with identical twin girls!

    Keep us posted.  Sometimes for encouragement I go to the premie board and see the success stories.  I realize you can also see sad stories over there but there are some really amazing success stories too.  Hang in there.

    tell that cervix to stay strong and get longer, not shorter!!! I hope you can keep them cooking for quite awhile longer!

    are you on modified bedrest? i  was put on modified bedrest once my cervix hit 3 (and I was 30 weeks).  Stayed on for 5 weeks and delivered a few days later.

    MUCH better to be safe than sorry!

    No, my OB just said to take it as easy as I can w/o making myself feel like an invalid. He said I can go to work, etc. I plan on just cutting back on everything at home.

    OMG, I am so very sorry!!  Take it easy and REST, REST REST!!!!  Hopefully they will stay in for much longer!!!!
