Dh vent!

My csection is scheduled for tomorrow at 12:45. I am so nervous. Where is my dh? At home, spending time with me like he has promised forthe last week and a half or so?!? Noooo... Of course not. Hes out doing God only knows. He won't even give me a straight answer about where he is at. He mentioned to my sister that he had a surprise for me but honestly I don't care if he won a million dollars, nothing will make up for him breaking his promise and not spending our last night as a twosome with me. I'm so angry i just want to cry. And I get that maybe, just maybe he is freaking out at becoming a dad tomorrow but that's not an excuse! I'm nervous about becoming a mom, and having my gut cut in half and then stapled back together, but I'm still here like I promised. Er!!! I hate being a girl, I'm going to download that one song by beyonce "I wish I were a boy"?

That would piss me off, too. Our c/s is scheduled for tomorrow at 5 and I was annoyed that DH got home from work just a little later than usual. Did you ask him to come home??

Sorry to hear that you're upset, but maybe its just the crazy hormones & anxiety just making it seem worse! He's probably out doing some last minute things for you!! You gotta stay positive! Oh & that song is definitely "If I were a boy" & even though its a total pain sometimes, you would totally miss being a girl!!

yeah, I finally just got to talk to him on the phone, instead of text. He's on his way home, but he had promised to take me to downtown Annapolis tonight. It was supposed to be really romantic, but instead he went to the mall by himself! Without calling or texting to even tell me that! Er! Stupid boy!

It was supposed to be really romantic, but instead he went to the mall by himself! Without calling or texting to even tell me that! Er! Stupid boy!

OK, now I have to know what he was doing! Update us when he gets home!

Im sorry you are alone. If it makes you feel any better, I am REALLY alone. DH is in Iraq. 

You mentioned something about him freaking out about becoming a Dad, and that might be an excuse. I totally feel your pain on that one, before my husband left for Iraq, he had all his buddies up for a weekend and had a boozefest! I was so mad! IM THE ONE who has to sit home alone every night not them! Sometimes men dont think, and they certainly dont think like us women. But again - no excuse- your DH is totally being selfish right now and you have every right to be pissed!

Ok, you said downtown Naptown.  To me, that equals Buddys.  I would kill for a Buddys crabcake right now.  (They only have lame Alaskan crab cakes here in Anchorage.)  DH would be dead for breaking that promise.
