Technically it's not ONE midwife, it's a team of midwives that work @ the hospital. I'll never have the same team twice, but I'm not picky.

I would prefer a midwife and was seeing one before we moved, but there aren't any in my area that deliver in the hospital.  That being said my OB is awesome and about as close to a MW as you can get and still be a doctor

When I delivered DD, I used a midwife who was AWESOME!  Now that we've moved overseas, we don't have a midwife available to us (we are using a US military hospital) and I'll us an OBGYN this time.
