New level of insensitivity...

Brought DD south to my mom's for a 10 day vacation.  My college friends were all home for the weekend, so we headed out to go tailgating.. one of them KNOWN for insensitivity, so not really a surprise... took one look at me (still have weight leftover from the pregnancy, obviously) and said, "hey, are you pregnant?"  Hmm.. I had a BEER in my hand.  So, I made him feel about 2 inches tall... then come to find out he freaking KNEW THE WHOLE STORY.

Let's not even get into my mom and her issues with her siblings.. yesterday she said "well, I called so and so to tell them about your problem..." hmm.. (a) not a PROBLEM and (b).. um, why would you need to do that??  It's not exactly a secret, but I'd prefer it not be fodder for gossip.

Wow. I can't get over you friend's comment even knowing what happened.  I'm pretty willing to give people a pass for things that I do not find helpful, but that is almost inexcusable.

Sorry to hear that you had to deal with that.  I am one of those people who tends to lose her filter and respond.  Kudos to you for having more tact than I would!!
