Pregnant after 35
36 week appt
Well the baby has dropped (I pretty much knew that) but nothing is going on with my cervix. I expected that as it is still early and I won't let myself get bothered by it until 39 weeks.
The internal didn't hurt too bad, more uncomfortable than anything since I think he had half his arm up there trying to reach it. The GBS swab was qucik and painless.
I only gained 2 lbs since my last appt- a miracle since Thanksgiving was in the mix there. I think things are slowing down in that dept- 2 lbs in the last 4 weeks but I understand that is common as you get to the end.
Weekly appointments now. I can't believe it is less than a month until my EDD!

I start internals next appointment but I'm not too scared. I got "checked" when I was in the hospital with my PTL scare and I thought the same thing. Uncomfortable - yes, painful - no.
