I need some healthy, breakfast ideas that DS can take with him to preschool. His breakfast menu is now limited to pancakes w/ turkey sausage, a biscuit w/ turkey sausage, or Cheerios and strawberries. He will sometimes eat a banana or Rice Krispies. He won't eat eggs, toast, oatmeal, english muffins, muffins, or yogurt. I've tried cereal bars with fruit filling, but he doesn't like the filling.
He might eat something like a chewy granola bar or a Pop-Tart, or something like the "breakfast cookies," but those things have a lot of sugar. Are there similar healthier options?
Re: Healthy, portable breakfast
Would he eat something like the Kraft Bagelfuls? Those have cream cheese inside a bagel stick.

Shredded wheat (even the sweetened version doesn't have that much sugar, and it has a lot of fiber and protein)
Van's waffles
high fiber pop tart (makes me feel a little better about the sugar and processing)
TJ's oat bran swirls or Cracklin' oat bran - my kids call them cookies. LOL!
We make smoothies with
milk
honey
yogurt
banana
frozen fruit
Delicious and nutritious and portable
Nope, he's allergic to peanuts.
