We're just starting to get serious about TTC, and I'd like to know where I can get the best deals.
Also, which basal thermometer do you use?
I'm going to buy the book "Taking Charge of Your Fertility," and I'm sure it'll have a lot of great info, but do y'all have any advice?
Our first pregnancy (the m/c) was not planned but not prevented, so all the tracking is new to me.
Re: Where do you buy your OPK's and HPT's?
i got my BBT from walgreens, but any kind will do.
OPK's i get from walmart (answer brand) or the PX, also there are cheapies online.
HPT's i get from the dollar tree. i am def thrifty so i like to get good deals.
I got my thermometer at Target. Make sure you get an actual BBT though. It needs to have the extra degree so that you can see a clear shift.
Read TCOYF.... it explains everything about charting. I used fertilityfriend.com to chart my temps. It is VERY easy to use.

Bloggin' It
I use OPKs from www.early-pregnancy-tests.com, but their HPT only ever gave me the faintest of lines, so I bought FRERs at a local store for that. I have also heard good things about OPKs from www.saveontests.com.
I love TCOYF. I learned so much about my cycle and how my bodies work; it is a wonderful resource. I have used both their software and FF and liked them both for different reasons.
