Son has congestion but no fever wwyd?

My DS is 2.5yrs old. He has been having horrible congestion but no fever. He is actually choking on the congestion it is so thick. I am giving him mucinex (started this am), he slept with humidifier last night, anything else I should do?What could this be?

Thanks, that is what I was thinking too:) I think I am going to try to keep him in bed watching Barney today so he can rest. He did not get much sleep with my parents here.

He has a cold. You're doing what you should be doing   Have him drink lots, it thins the mucous better than any medication can.

  

ditto PMQ. if he gets a fever or hasn't improved a little by monday, then I'd call the pedi.  hope he's better soon!
