Cute penguin story from Thanksgiving

I went to my brothers yesterday for turkey dinner. I got to play with my little nephew who is almost 3. He is a trip to be around. I was there for about 5 hours playing with him most of the time and in his playroom (important later)

When he was ready to go to bed everyone gathered in the kitchen about 6-7 of us..he kissed and hugged everyone good night and when he got to me he looked at me and said  "something, something enguins"...i was like huh? he said it again...then it dawned on me that he was saying penguins so i said PENGUINS?? He said yeah!! I was like are you kidding? Out of the blue he said that word....i couldn't even believe it. Dh & i just looked at each other and were in total shock. No one else knew the significance and i have no idea what else he said but that was the word i understood.

Come to find out he has 3 little penguins in his playroom that are stuck in a corner behind the tv...we played in there a million times and he's never said a thing about them.

I  am hoping this is good luck. After my results today i'm thinking the penguins are GL. I wore penguin socks today that i bought myself.

Power to the penguins!!!

    That is so cute! I actually had something similar happen yesterday, when I got to my Mom's house I went to put my dishes in the fridge and hanging there was a drawing of a penguin. I almost fropped all my desserts. Turns out my 6 yo nephew did it early that day while the parade was one.  I asked him about it and he said he just likes penguins and asked if I wanted it. So now i have a 6year old's drawing of a penguin in my purse that I am totally framing.
