Need an opinion...

So my Lucky Socks Elf gave me a stufed penguin (thanks sweetbijou!!) Do you guys think it would be weird to take it with me to my IUI tomorrow morning. I figure I need all the luck I can get with only one follie ready to go at my u/s. But I don't want to seem too weird to the RE. (I still feel like at anytime he could be like "I don't like you, no baby for you!")

So what do you guys think, take the penguin or no?

Can he come with you and maybe sit on the chair in the room with you? That way you don't have to hold him, and the doc probably won't even notice it, but it will be there with you. Bring a big purse and put him in there in the waiting room

I think it is cute, but I too always worry about what other people are going to think!

TAKE! Who cares what anyone thinks. It's what feels right to you.

I have been carrying around two fertility dolls to every appt. I go to. I keep them in a little purse, so I have my purse and the little purse and I hold it when I am getting an ultrasound. I ask DH to hold the little purse sometimes and this morning in the elevator up to the RE, he says you do realize that you don't have to keep carrying those around, you touched them and that is all that matters and he said you shouldn't take them into the sanitary retrieval/operating suite etc... which I won't go that far, but I will bring them to the hospital with me, along with socks and whatever else it takes!

Good luck tomorrow morning, I too only have one follie but as the saying goes, it only takes one.
