So, if I blew it last year with this present....

should I try it again?

Last year, we gave all three great grandmas "memberships" to the photo of the month club for both kids.  However, I made it until June and then I completely got busy, procrastinated, forgot about it.  I feel awful.  I've told them all that I haven't forgotten but it's a little late to play catch up, don't you think?

They LOVED the gift while I was still sending the monthly photos.  I REALLY want to do this again this year but I don't want them to feel like, "Ya, right...she'll forget again!" LOL

I thought about including another photo gift like a calendar (using photos from this past year) to make up for it.  OR, I could just go back through and send them the photos this week in a "better late than never" sort of way.  WWYD?

Also, wdyt about "art of the month" as well.

  • I agree. Those calenders are a huge hit with grandmas. I'm also a big fan of photo ornaments

  • I'd do the calendar and one piece of framed artwork for Christmas. Then send a few photos and drawings throughout the year as surprises.

  • I agree with the PP, since you made promises you couldn't keep last year, I think you should steer clear of the same/similar promise this year.  I would go with a proactive gift of calendar or something that you give and it is done.

I also like your idea of going back and send photos to make up for the ones you never delivered.
