Why is it that anytime LO cries, people are sure its because she is hungry? Drives me nuts! It can be 30 minutes after she just ate. I love all of the advice people insist on giving. Maybe she just doesn't like them?

I get tired of people assuming that I don't ever feed my kid too. It's annoying.  Grams is famous for "he's cold, get him a blanket."  Yesterday there were 50 people crammed in her tiny little house and it was seriously 80 degrees in there--baby was all sweaty--and she insisted he needed wrapped up in a blanket.  UH, no.

Same here.  My MIL had the nerve to say to LO (in front of my grandparents) "What's the matter, did mommy forget to feed you?" Um, no!! She just ate but thanks for trying to make me look like a bad mom.

That is the WORST.  My mom and DH used to say that ALL the time when she first came home from the hospital. It puts so much pressure on a new mom...  so glad that's over with.

Ugh, seriously... my mom and MIL both LOVE to say that, especially when they see DD sucking on her hand.  Nevermind that I'll tell them that I just fed her, they'll always insist that she must be hungry.  Seriously, why would I lie about having just fed her?
