Repronex ladies?

Hi Ladies,

I've never been on Repronex before...the vial is huge! My stomach is so sore and  feels like I've done 100 sit-ups..is that normal? I hope I understood the directions and I was really supposed to use that whole vial! Thanks in advance!

Are you mixing the repronex yourself? If so, you are supposed to mix with 1cc of the saline and then the whole vial of powder (assuming you are on 75 of the repronex). If you are on a larger dose, you still just mix it with the 1cc of liquid and just dilute each powder in the mixed liquid.

Yes, I'm mixing myself. I mixed one whole vial of saline with the vial of powder! I don't think she specified a dose! I'll have to give them a call and ask, Thanks for the advice!

I have to do 150IU of Repronex and they have me mixing 1cc of the saline with 2 vials of the powder.

I still get the sore area/welt around the injection site (although the last couple days have gotten better). When I asked my nurse about it she said it was normal and I could try some hydro-cortisone cream or a warm compress after the injection.

GL!  After the 3rd or 4th one I noticed that I'm not getting such bad reactions - I hope yours get better too!

I always had my husband mix it because I was afraid I'd mess it up somehow   But I had to use 1 vial of powder and 1 vial of saline solution.  And it definitely was the most painful of the injectibles I've used.  My stomach was always sore.  It did seem to get a little better over time.  Hope yours does, too!

Thanks so much! I've never been sore like this with any other medicine. I'm going to just double check with the nurse on the dosage.

Are you injecting in the stomach? I get my injections in the lower back/upper butt cheek region.  I numb it with an ice pack first and I don't really feel much pain.  Afterwards my butt muscles feel kinda sore...like I was doing a lot of lunges/exercising.
