I guess there is some stink on other boards about taking down the siggys. People asking what it will do, or saying that they don't know this girl, or that it won't change anything. Well, it's called a gesture. And I'd dare anyone to ask someone why there are wearing a pink or yellow ribbon, or partaking in any other support/rememberance symbol.
It could happen to anyone. It could happen to me and it could happen to you. I know people on this board have suffered and don't mean to undermine anyone elses losses, but I personally feel it is appropriate to show my support of this person.
And yes, it is 4:45 am and I've been up with J several times tonight, but can't help but think how appreciative I should be for EVERY moment I have with her. We should all be THANKFUL for our blessings.

I also thought people could use this post to C&P their siggys so that they don't have to be recreated. Happy Thanksgiving ladies....
Re: Because even if it is only a gesture, it's the right thing to do

And it you're worried about "privacy" - anyone can right click on any of your badges/pics and get all this info anyway.... Just sayin'
And, just for the record. I'm not judging anyone on whether or not they do this. It just really made me mad to see these people posting things like, "well, I'm not taking mine down because I don't think it will make a difference" If you choose not to do it, fine, but don't question other people's choice in partaking.
Sorry - I'm crazy hormonal, and with J being sick for 6 days now, I just can't put the thought out of my head about what this poor woman has been thru...
Off to eat some turkey now....
You're exactly right, it's a gesture. Just like the "Team Sarah" badges that so many of the Pets gals have in their sigs. And for the record, that DID make a huge difference for me to know that so many people were on my side when things were tough, whether I'd ever met them or not.
Very well said. Sig deleted.
How sad! Sig deleted.
