the verdict is in...PCOS

Well I had my ultra sound and follow up appointment today... it turns out I have PCOS, which explains a lot. I am now on the pill for 2 months to "cleanse" my ovaries and then I will start Clomid after those two cycles. I'm not excited about my diagnoses but I am relieved to finally have answers. We are still trying to conceive before the next deployment so hopefully things will go to plan!

I know that's probably not what you wanted to hear, but at least you know what's going on now.  Sounds like you all have a good plan of attack also!  GL!

Just wanted to say good luck! I recently got my diagnosis too. Taking it one month at a time! Things will work out for us : ) Just takes longer.

I'm with you.  Just had my diagnosis last week.  I'm feel much more confident now that I have an idea about why and what course to take.  It helps that I have two dear friends that have known about their PCOS for years.  One has 3 children and the other is now pregnant.  There's hope!

That is wonderful to hear about your friends! I do not know anyone who has PCOS besides me. I'm sorry about your diagnosis but like you said it's nice to finally know... now we have something to work with. Best of Luck to you! Best of luck to all of you. Thank you for all your responses.
