Anovulation after Implanon?

Has anyone experienced irregular cycles and anovulation after using Implanon? I had my Implanon implant removed 7 months ago and have yet to ovulate and have a regular cycle. My GYN says some people take up to a year to re-regulate. I'd love to hear if anyone else is in a similar situation and what your GYNs have suggested.
