The nurse told me the side effects were depression and mood swings. I've never had any problems with either (although my dh may say otherwise about mood swings! ), but that really turned me off. Did you have any of those problems and did the Reglan increase your supply at all?
I just don't know what else to do. The LC went through everything I'm doing and she had no other suggestions for me other than take advantage of the long weekend and nurse as often as possible.
I have given him a bottle of formula at the end of the day for the last three days, and I wouldn't say that is going well (lots of spitting up and gas = unhappy baby), but he is getting fed. I would like to try whatever I can before I start experimenting with supplementing formula. I am not that big of a fan of bf'ing, but I hate the spitting up and gassy baby even more.
Re: Anyone take Reglan?
is the gassy/spitting up when he has formula? I've seen moms on here and a couple friends IRL that use Similac (blue can) and it caused that. They switched to the Orange can and the problems were gone immediately.
(sad that I only know them by color! LOL)
I do not have depression issues either, and I had to stop taking it after 2 days. It made me feel horrid, hopeless, and all I wanted to do was sleep.
Honestly, I'd stay far, far away from it.

Ugh. Thanks. Did you end up taking something else?
I cannot take Reglan because I am allergic to it (I was taking it for headaches).
It makes me psychotic... and it is NOT a pretty sight (according to my DH).
No, I just dealt with low supply. I tried oatmeal, pumping at regular, scheduled intervals and (totally brain farting) the supplement that makes you smell like maple syrup. DD did not latch, so I pumped for 6.5 months. Some days she got 100% BM, other days it was 50/50. I had an excel spreadsheet of each days ounces (complete with weekly averages) ...ca-razy fist time mom obsessed.
I stopped pumping and went to all formula at 6.5 months, first Enfamil from Costco, then the Costco brand. DD did fine on it. Probably not what you want to hear, but it was the best thing I did. And I was totally committed to BFing a year (hello judgy, 1st time PG woman), then DD happened and put me in my place, lol.
