Coffee in the 2WW

I know this has been discussed millions of times but how about a million and one.  Did you drink coffee during the 2WW?  I love my morning cup and my cup in the afternoon.  I can give up the afternoon one but I want my morning one.  It's OK in moderation, right?  I asked my RE and he said it was.  Reassure me please.

If your RE is okay with it than drink up. Enjoy!!

I drink decaf in the 2ww, but that's just because I am anal.  If your RE says it's ok, then I dont see a problem.

Yes I do.  My RE says that it doesnt matter what you eat/drink until the 5th or 6th week because the placenta is not formed and connected until then.

I drink coffee (with a lot of cream) in the morning during 2ww. As long as it's in moderation it's fine.

i only drink decaf anyway, and have since we started TTC.

I have switched to decaf coffee and have tried to avoid caffeinated sodas as well.  I miss regular coffee and coke

My RE also said it was fine, and I drank coffee every morning in my 2 ww.  And I'm drinking it now, too.

I switch to decaf in the 2ww, only because I read (or heard somewhere, not entirely reliable ) that it may affect implantation.  But I'm crazy like that.

I've asked 2 REs this same thing and one said:

 "Do you think France and Italy would even exist if you couldn't drink coffee while TTC"

the other one said:

"You're asking the guy who just finished his 16th cup of coffee of the day?"

At this point, my morning coffee is one of the few things that makes me really, really happy so I refuse to give it up.  In fact, I broke down and asked for a $750 espresso machine for Christmas!

I drink decaf and caffeine-free Diet Coke, but as far as I know, one cup of coffee a day is ok, even during pregnancy.  Maybe have your caf in the morning and decaf in the afternoon.

Mine said no more than 2 cups a day. I usually get a large in the am and have it throughout the day. I rarely drink soda but if I do it's decaf. I'd rather cut it other places and keep the coffee.
