Is this something I want to go to with DD?  DH decided with his buddy last night that they want to participate and he wants G and I to go and watch and/or meet him at the end to hang out. 

I looked online and see there is an alcohol free family friendly area that you need to take a shuttle for that I'm not interested in.  Is it crazy/inappropriate to just go to the regular "after race party" with a one year old?  We wouldn't be there all day just for a little bit to collect DH and maybe say hi to some friends.

I think it'd be fine, although I've also been bringing DS to a "bar" since he was 2 weeks old so I may not be the best person to ask
