What do you think of the Adam Lambert controversy.  They edited his performance for the west coast.

I didn't see it, but what does it say about our society that Madona can kiss Britney but Adam can't kiss another guy?  And how many women are mimicking sex acts and he can't?  I am surprised... (although I haven't watched it yet)

I am by no means a prudey booty, but I thought it was in poor taste and over the top and gross.  If you are seriously talented and can perform and entertain, I don't see why you have to mimic sex acts on stage.  But that's just my personal opinion.  And FWIW, I feel the same way about Madonna and Britney.

Like I said, I didn't see it, I just think it is odd that they edited it out, but didn't some of the other stuff that goes on between females...

I don't think Britney & Christina should be kissing on an award show, and Adam shoudn't be doing it either.  I don't care what gender they are, they are just doing it purely for shock value and it's in bad taste.

Ditto.  I think you should watch it before you say anything.  I think for something like that to be on primetime tv is completely inappropriate, I don't care who you are or what your gender and sexual preferences are.

Plus, I think the Britney/Madonna kiss happened on the MTV music awards.  The AMA's were aired on ABC.  That is different, imo.  I know if I had a 10 year old (for example), I wouldn't let them watch MTV, but ABC should be okay.  I would not be okay with my 10 year old watching that performance.

It's all so ridiculous & gimicky...and he's getting exactly what he wanted out of that performance...people are talking about it.  I'm not impressed with his music but I might have been able to appreciate it more if he wasn't spending all of his energy trying to shock everyone.  Just sing...and people will hear you.  All the other crap is so unnecessary.

I will say that the simulated oral sex act was disgusting as was simulated "fingering" of a female dancer. The kiss was the least offensive part of the whole thing.

He's disgusting and I am surprised that ABC  would allow it.
