resting after ET? bedrest?

So, my ET is tomorrow morning...yyaaayy!!!  I hear lots of different people saying different things... did your RE recommend bedrest that day?  Mine just said lay around and take it easy, not "bedrest" per se.  Just curious as to what youu were advised?  Thanks!

My doctor said that same thing.  To take it easy that day.  I had mine yesterday and when I got home I laid around all day and all night.  This morning I went to work, but sat in my chair as much as I could ( I am a teacher so it was a little hard)

My RE said to be in "couch potato mode" for 48 hrs. after- getting up only to go to the bathroom, eat, etc. If possible, they said to chill out in a recliner rather than laying down and not to stand for too long (like showering). I was more than happy to comply   The first day was easy since I'd had a valium before the ET, but day 2 I was getting stircrazy.

I've had 2 RE's, first said 24 hours bedrest.  2nd said to take it easy, I'll be taking it easy after my transfer on Friday.

I was put on bedrest for 72 hours.

Mine says rest the day of ET and the following day.  By rest, she means laying on the couch or bed and just getting up quickly to get food or go to the bathroom.
