We are considering looking for a new doctor for my dd and an acquaintance made a recommendation to me. I have googled the dr. and found his name and the name of the practice but no other info. (I don't think the practice has a website.) I'd like to find more info about his background. I find it kind of strange that nothing is coming up. Is this a red flag? Are there any good website directories of doctors and their education & history?
Re: Where to find information on doctors?
if you have private insurance the insurance website will have some background info, but not all are the same, we now have humama wh/ does not do as good of a job telling me about the doctors on the plan as Aetna did.
Aetna use to tell all their school/residency/association and if they were board certified (not all dr are board certified)
Max 4-08-08 and Michael 2-03-91 (19 years olds)
Both boys were born w/ hirschsprung's disease, you find yourself facing this dx, please feel free to ask me any questions.
