using a trigger for IUI and charting question

Hello ladies! So, I had a trigger before my IUI this week, and I had a positive opk the day after the trigger, so I'm fairly sure I O'd, however my temps are not going up. I know maybe I shouldn't be charting, but I can't help but want to see if we timed the IUI well.  Has anyone used a trigger and found that their temps didn't reflect O when the trigger should've made it happen??

Re: using a trigger for IUI and charting question

  • Yes, I've been exactly in your shoes!  I worried that my body wasn't showing the same signs it used to.  My RE told me to stop charting, actually.  With Clomid and HCG, she said OPK's after IUI and temping would not give accurate results.  And I'm also using prometrium now, after the IUI.  After charting (and temping) for about a year, I stopped 3 cycles ago and just have to assume the meds do what they are supposed to do.  It does seem weird, at first.

  • Okay, at least I'm not the only one!  I didn't take clomid though, just the trigger. I gotta let go because it is done. and I can't change it...so I will just cross my fingers and assume the meds did their job. UGH!  (your sig pic is hysterical!)
