Comfortable shoes?

My feet and ankles are so swollen!  I am on my feet and moving around a lot at work.  Can anyone suggest some shoes that might help me feel a little more comfortable?

Re: Comfortable shoes?

  • I always said I would never leave the house in a pair of crocs.  Well, I'm now a liar.  I found "cute" leopard ones that look like ballerina flats.  They are the only thing that helps.
  • I second the Crocs. I think they are super ugly, but by 27 weeks I didn't care, I just wanted shoes that fit.

  • i caved in and bought a pair of uggs (well, ugg knockoffs) when I started getting swollen feet.  They're ugly as sin, but they're VERY comfortable.
  • I was living in flip flops until it got too cold (I live in Ca) and now I only go out in my uggs.  My husband has to put them on me.
  • So far I'm still comfy in my Dansko's. Normally, I only wear them at work (12 hour shifts on my feet until last week), but they're quickly becoming my all-the-time shoes.

  • The ONLY shoes that will fit my hugely swollen feet are crocs. They ain't pretty, but they are comfortable and I can get away with wearing them at work since they are less conspicuous than flip flops. And I've found that real crocs are much more comfortable and worth it than the fake ones. Good Luck!
