Infertility

Received my first round of injectables

So I received my first round of injectables. It's pretty intense. I couldn't believe how organized everything is. It very intense. I have follistim and my hcg trigger. Is it weird that I am so excited about giving myself injections? Also wondering how much others have paid for theirs? I paid $155 for both oop. Also should I expect to be sore from the follicles growing?

  • I do not think it is weird you are excited to move on, hope is a wonderful thing! Now lets see how you are doing the night of your first scheduled shot... (the first is the hardest to get through)

As for what you may feel. Some ovary tenderness is not unusual as well as bloat.

    Good luck!

  • Good luck with the injectables!  I would feel sore or kind of heavy in the ovary area about a day after the trigger.
