and he takes hydroxyzine daily, we lather him up with aquaphor and triamcinolone acetonide ointment... and all of that is not working
can someone give me a diagnosis... PIP
just posted on blog , but see the photos of ds. they say exzyma but there is no red, rough dry patches, just normal skin all scratched up to pieces. so sad. i need an instant cure for ds. or something that works better then what we are doing now!

My DS does this, too. Then he gets skin infections and they look REALLY scary.
We use EpiCeram on the problem areas every day (non-steroidal rx). If a flare up looks like it might pop up, we use hydrocortisone no more than 2 times per week. And I give him Evening Primrose Oil (1.25 ml) once a day. Since we started that routine, he hasn't had a flare up (3 months).
