No one knows how long to boil a chicken?

Ugh... I've looked online and can't find a definite answer, either. They all say, "til it falls off the bone" oook... that doesn't help. LOL

I cut the chicken into 1/4s or so, and generally cook it for half an hour and then start checking.

Go to the nest and ask on whats cooking board.  I dont know but if I had to guess 20 mintues.

I just keep checking it until I check with a fork & it will falls off.  Just like everyone else has said.  Sorry no exact time.

If you are using boneless, skinless chicken, it will be done in about 20 minutes. If you are boiling a whole chicken, it will take about 1 hour. Just boil them until you can pick the meat apart easily with a fork.
