XP: Toddler moms-late crawlers/rollers

Hi there... Did anyone have a little one with very delayed gross motor skills. My girls are almost 13 months and one doesnt crawl or roll. I have her in early intervention and try to do all her exercises but I'm just getting frustrated. The therapist thinks shes just unmotivated. I have an appointment in a couple of months with a developmental pediatrician. I'm just feeling very defeated & depressed at the moment. Did anyone else go thru this? Thanks

One of my sons was much later than his brother to walk - I know it's not the same thing, but we 'knew' he could do it, he was just unmotivated and once he decided he wanted to, he just kind of took  about 4 steps and then about 10, and he hasn't stopped since!  He's about as good at walking as his brother is now, so try not to let it get you too down - especially if the therapist feels it's a motivation issue.  She'll get up and go when she's ready - probably when you least expect it!  : )

Kaden has always been about 2 months behind Nolan.  Kaden started crawling when he was about 11 months old and just started walking pretty good now and he is 14 months.  Nolan on the other hand was crawling by the time he was about 8 1/2 months old and was walking by the time he was a year old.
