Yesterday, on top of 25oz of formula, she ate 1/4 of a banana, 2 mini pancakes, a handful of cheerios, 2 chicken nuggets, applesauce, a slice of chedder cheese, 5 carrots, chunk of potato, and corned beef.
Is there a guideline somewhere that says how much they should be eating oz. wise??? I feel like she is going throw a growth spurt. She is already 30+ inches tall & over 25lbs.
Re: how much does your 1yo eat
YOu have a great eater, be thankful. Charleigh barely eats anything. She chugs milk in her sippy and still nurses at night, but the girl just won't eat much else. She isn't picky, she will take a few bites of almost anything, but she is just not a quantity eater.
Yesterday, she had a sippy with a yogurt smoothie in it, a sausage patty, a quarter of an orange, and two scrambled eggs for breakfast.
Morning snack was a cereal bar from Trader Joe's and some raisins.
For lunch, she had a big bowl of macaroni and cheese along with some crackers.
Afternoon snack was a small bowl of dried fruit - apples, plums, and apricots, as well as some raisins.
Dinner was a broccoli and cheese pot pie. She ate half of it.
That's a typical day.
Not sure about guidelines. She asks to eat and tells me when she's done.
DD is a really good eater. An average day is:
7am - 1 cup milk - not sure how many ozs
8am - breakfast - pancake and half banana or something like that with milk or diluted juice
11am - lunch - half sandwich, mixed veggies, blueberries with milk
2pm - snack - graham crackers, yogurt or something like that
5pm - maybe another small snack especially if she is at daycare
6:30 - dinner - she eats whatever we eat, but normally something like some grilled chicken, veggie, fruit with milk
8 - finishes milk from dinner or sometimes has a little more milk before bed
