Actually, my kid has been grunting "meh,meh meh!" for a few months. But I sure hope it doesn't mean "mama" because he only makes that noise when he's mad or frustrated. In our case, "meh-meh" means, "hey lady, I'm so fecking p*ssed at you!"
I remember someone asking when they could "count it as a word." Her kid said "elbow" at, like, five months. Ummm, no, your kid put a couple sounds together that sounded like "elbow" put together.
Ugh. That board is so full of competitive parenting...and B.S. My MIL always tries to tell me E is "saying" this or that, but she's just babbling; or that she's waving bye-bye because she opens and closes her hand randomly. I think this is why DH and his siblings supposedly did everything ridiculously early!
