Toddlers: 12 - 24 Months

I would like your opinion PIP

I have always had really thin eyebrows. Well actually they were REALLY full and then some chick in a salon screwed up and waxed them all off. We all know the pain it is to grow them back. So anyway...they are really thin, i hate them. So my mom took me to Nordstrom and had this lady do a free consult on my eyebrows. She, of course, wants me to grow them back...She filled them in with a pencil as to how they should look. I probably just need to get used to it...but here is a before and an after. I feel like i look like a man lol.

Its kind of hard to see in the first pic...but its the best i could find.

After - yeah its the infamous self portrait. get over it  :)

Re: I would like your opinion PIP

  • Something in the middle (or maybe 3/4 of the way to the "after" side) would look best IMO.

  • I think maybe it's just a touch too dark, or thick or something. It is really close to being perfect, but it's just a tiny bit too much the way it is in pic #2.

  • Yes! I love them, Del. You do not look like a man. I think they help frame your eyes. Thin eyebrows are for old ladies Wink
  • I like the 'thicker' ones.

  • I really like the fuller, more natural look.  In the first picture your eyebrows are way too thin.
  • they look so much betttter!!!

ITA. Definitely more of the "after", but not entirely!

  • I think the fullness is good in the second pic, but maybe just a touch too dark.
  • I agree with PP. Something in the middle or maybe it's the color of the filled in eyebrows that's off. I don't think your before is bad. I'm terrified to let people touch my eyebrows! I've heard too many horror stories.
  • I definitely think they look great fuller and less maintenance.  You are too cute!
  • I way way way like the thicker eyebrow better, it'll just take getting used to.  I just bought this really great eyebrow kit from Smashbox and at first I thought it was a little much, but I'm used to it now and I think my eyebrows look much better natural, than too thin and overplucked!  Use the pencil until your brows grow out then make sure the lady doesn't get too wax-happy!!

  • i say yes grow them back. i'm doing the same thing. i have a huge hole in my one eyebrow from an accident, so i overplucked to compensate. we can be eyebrow growing buddies. i'm still getting the low straggly ones, but anything near the brows i'm leaving there, then around xmas i'm going to get them professionally done.

  • Its funny you guys say they are too dark. If you could see them IRL...and you look close...my real eyebrows are like BLACK BLACK BLACK. it was hard for her to get the pencil to match! lol
  • I like the fuller pic! :)

check out the Nordstrom in your area cnag. Its pretty pricey...but they are much more professional than just going to a random salon. the girl i go to worked on movie stars - but she moved back here to be with family.

I don't think it looks too dark.  It should match your natural hair/eyebrow color.

  • They are way too thin in the first photo.  I like the fuller look so much better.

Remember that when she grows them out (instead of penciling them in) your natural eyebrows will look lighter than the pencil, so I think by growing them out you will achieve the look that everyone is talking about.

  • Fuller, with less pencil (less dark) will look much better. It takes A LOT of years off of you, believe it or not, not that you look old in either!

I have a friend with no eyebrows...she pencils them in. She shaves them, pencils them in. It makes her look so old.

  • Love the after, but you still look awesome in the before!
  • The fuller ones look better IMO.

  • Definitely better in the 2nd pic! I grew mine out a year or so ago.  I used a pencil to fill them in a bit while they were growing in.  It does take some getting used to if you've had thin brows.  But they really do look better in your 2nd pic.

  • hm... they're a little thick to me.  But I also have thin eyebrows.  I always use a pencil though to help fill them in when I do my make-up, however... I'm always looking at other people's brows thinking they are way too thick so I maybe bias.
  • Grow them out!! You look better in the second pic for sure.

  • you know they are trying to push through latisse (the eyelash growth treatment) to treat other hair loss areas, such as eyebrows.  i've used a little drop on the ends of my brows, and they are getting fuller.

she suggested that i buy this serum stuff...but she said i dont need to do that. I am going back in a week and she said if they are not growing much at all...then she would suggest i get it, but its like 36 bucks.

  • How cute are you??!? I like the fuller brows, thin ones look very 80's to me.

well, either way i think it would take a while for them to grow out but it's worth a shot.  i like the fuller better, fwiw:)

  • I think you look much better with them.  They make your eyes pop.
  • thanks girls! i was fully bracing myself for replies such as: Ick!
  • I like the fuller ones - they make your eyes "pop".

ETA:  Didn't read the responses before responding.  Great minds think alike, Echowysp!  Must be true, then Del.

  • I like the "after."? Looks good, and no, you do not look like a man.
  • I think the shape and everything in PIP 2 looks great. I mean, it will look a million times better when it's all natural eyebrows, KWIM?
  • IMO I like the after, but the "after" picture is more my style.

  • I think the re-done brows look really good.  I'm not a fan of skinny brows.
