f/u Friend's baby w/cyst and calcium deposit

She got the blood tests back today, and it is NOT Downs Syndrome!!!!

God sure is good! And prayer works!

Obviously, there is still a cyst and calcium deposit to worry about..but they think it will most likely go away and be no big deal. Still giong to the specialist to be safe but thank goodness it isn't Downs..

Thanks for all the T&P!

Re: f/u Friend's baby w/cyst and calcium deposit

  • Thank goodness!  I was wondering how she was going.  I hope that everything goes away on its own and that she has a happy healthy baby.

    Thanks for the update!

  • That is so good to hear! My Daughter had both the cyst and calcium deposit and she is a healthy two year old today! Both of those issues will most likely resolve themselves! I will continue to keep them in my prayers.

  • YAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  • If it's a chorois plexus cyst and an intercardiac echogenic focus, then they really are nothing to worry about.  My son had the focus, so I did lots of medical and scientific research.  There is virtually no link between them and DS.

I say this so that any of you who may encounter this on a future u/s don't worry.
