How long can LO stay awake for?

DS only lasts a max of like 4 hours, then he gets SUPER crabby.  We've got him down to 2 naps a day and it's hard to keep him up for longer periods of time.  If he takes 3 naps a day, he doesn't sleep as well at night.  Right now, I'm waiting till 7pm to put him to bed...he's been up since 2pm and is really crabby right now...

Oh gosh, way longer than I'd like, lol!  Sometimes he gets up at 5am and doesn't nap until 1 or 1:30!  When he was a year, though, he was still napping 2 - 3 times a day.
