christmas card help

Hi ladies,

So I'l be about 15 weeks by the time I hav eto have christmas cards (picture kind) ordered. I don't think I'll really have a bump by then, but want to say SOMETHING about baby.  Think just a pic of hubby and I and then say happy holidays from the three of us??  Any ideas for somthing cute?

Re: christmas card help

  • thats already a cute way of doing it....

  • That's really cute (and subtle) , but I'd still only mention it in the cards to people I was REALLY close with.

  • I had a friend send out a card with her bump which said "expecting something great in 2008", although I realize you're probably not showing enough for that (she was due in Jan.).

On someone's blog I saw a picture with the future parents wearing t-shirts that said 'mommy' and 'daddy' and had some note about expecting in the new year.

    TTC #2 since April 2012

    Year 1 - nothing

    Year 2 - two m/c

    Year 3 - unexplained diagnosis & 4 failed IUIs with Clomid/Letrozole

Year 4 - still unexplained & 3 failed IUIs with Follistim & Ovidral

Year 5 - trying on our own

  • This might sound corny but I think it's cute: you can make a heart shape with your hands over your belly in the picture.  I saw a friend do this and I think it is the sweetest pic.
  • We're planning to announce to extended friends and fam with our Christmas card as well.  I'm thinking "Happy holidays from our (growing) family to yours."  I also like the "Expecting something great in 2010" - well, with something besides great that rhymes with 2010, I guess!
