Question for those of you who order from pottery barn

Does pottery barn keep the same items in stock from season to season?  I am getting ready to order red and ivory velvet stockings that are personalized and if another baby comes along, I would want to order his/her stocking next Christmas.  I am hoping these stockings are an item that will still be in stock next holiday season.

I am pretty sure they do!! We got ours and they are SO FREAKING NICE. I know people who have some from last year.

The stockings that we have aren't there anymore and I just ordered them last year. Also, my towels aren't on there anymore either and I wish they were! 

I think if they are seasonal items, or items that aren't "basic" that they rotate the styles and colors out.

The same exact item? ?No, usually not. ?They'll usually clearance everything out or send it to the outlet, then have a new stock manufactured for the next year. Even if an item looks identical, the colors may be a little off or there might be other small changes. ?(I worked for PB for a few years.)

ps: if there's an outlet anywhere near you, they probably have stockings! ?We were there last weekend and they had TONS, about $9 each. ?

They have the same ones at PBK that I got maddie last year. I hope they have them for a few more years so I can get them for subsequent kids.

Eh, I better not order this year, then.  Hopefully, we will have baby number two by next Christmas and I can just order then.  Cheapie stockings this year!  lol!

I would imagine they'll have those particular stockings around for quite awhile longer.  I got  those last year, and they are even using the same photograph for them online.  I think there are a few basics they continue to bring around, like the reindeer dinnerware (I've lusted after them for at least a decade), those stockings, and some other things like the Easter baskets and they keep around.

i was afraid of this so we ordered enough for the kids we are planning when i bought ours last year! ha! so i have one for dek, one for our lab hendrix, dad and mom, and two extras!

Depends on the item I think. We ordered DD her stocking from there last year and they do not have it this year.

I ordered the velvet/ivory stockings for the three of us last year, too I want them monogrammed though so ordering ahead of time didn't help (I don't think they monogram at a later date?). Anyhow, good to see them still available this year, I'll hope the same for next year!

They are quite lovely classic stockings btw
