Back from 1st appt.

It was boring lol. I guess that is a good thing right?

Lots of blood drawn, pee in a cup, history etc.

Didn't get to hear the heartbeat or have a sonogram.

I honestly forget what week I was in the 1st time I got to hear DS's HB on the doppler??

What week were you in when you heard??

Boring appt = good appointment! Glad it went well.

I was 13 weeks when I got to hear the HB for the first time.

i know every doc does it different, but i got to see and hear the heartbeat with Brock and the current pregnancy at my first appt.

I was 10 weeks pregnant when I first heard HB on the doppler, but the doctor told me that its not for sure to hear HB until 12 weeks. So don't be disappointed/concerned if you don't hear it before then.

I went in for an ultrasound at 6 1/2 weeks because I had a bleeding scare. Turned out to be nothing related to the pregnancy, everything was fine, and that's when we got to see & hear the heartbeat for the first time.
