I love stuff by Kissy Kissy.  Very classic, clean, whites/neutrals.  I also had a few things by Petit Ami that were very neutral and soft, practical cotton!  Just google for an online store or local boutique that carries those brands.

I have really liked the Gap first favorites one pieces.  They have cute little knot hats, too, which is nice for a newborn.  They have a chocolate brown one, and then you could get a pink and a blue hat to bring with to the hospital.

I really wish Babystyle would come back as they said they were going to.  I loved their baby knits.

I love the Wendy Belissimo stuff from BRU. There's always something neutral.
