Why do I dream of Booze?

I have had numerous dreams during pregnancy about going out w/ my friends, forgetting that I'm pregnant, taking shots of tequila, then remembering I'm pregnant and puking.

I had one last night. I woke up in tears! I woke up my boyfriend and apologized for getting drunk. He was confused....then I realized it was a dream. We laughed.

At least they are just dreams right!? I've been dreaming of sex since starting pelvic rest 5 loooooong weeks ago. I wish I dreamt of booze since I never really liked it as much as sex. lol.

I've had the same sort of dreams too. In mine, I'm being forced to drink and I keep telling the people making me drink that I'm pregnant, but they don't listen. I've dreamt the same thing a few time and always wake up sweating.

I keep dreaming about smoking cigarettes. My dream always flashes to me with a lit cigarette in hand and exhaling smoke. I always freak out in my dream because I don't remember anything before I realize that I'm smoking. Then, in the dream, I feel really guilty and start to cry.

I haven't been dreaming of booze but I sure want it and before BFP, I never really drank.

I have the booze dreams too! I do the exact same thing, I forget I'm pregnant, drink too much and then wake up in a panic!! haha! Glad I'm not alone!

I had a dream that I was drinking champagne while grocery shopping. Once I dreamt I was a keg party with my DH and our friends, and was drinking a beer and smoking a cigarette while telling someone I was pregnant and taking it easy on the vices, lol.

I had those dreams all the time in 1st Tri. I would always be out getting ridiculously drunk and then I would go home and remember I was pregnant. I would wake up so scared in the middle of the night and wonder if it was real or not. Ahhh the pregnant brain...

I have dreams and weird lala daydreams about someone atacking me and punching or kicking me in the stomach. SOOOO weird.

I've been having dreams almost every night in which I'm chainsmoking through the whole dream (and I was a very LIGHT smoker before BFP!), or downing my favorite cocktails. Sometimes I suddenly remember I'm pregnant and freak out, and sometimes I know it through the whole dream but have this insane idea that none of it will affect MY baby!

The thing that sucks just as bad as that feeling of horror when my dream-self realizes what she's doing, is the fact that these dreams are making me sooooooooo want a pitcher of margaritas and a pack of smokes in waking life sometimes. Sigh.
