My DH works 2 night shifts every 8 days on a rotation. I think that Evan knows he is gone, and feels like he has to be the "man of the house", because the nights that he is gone, Evan is up at least one, if not two more times in the night. Usually, we are at a bedtime about 9, up at 2, and then again around 6...but on the nights that DH is gone, he throws a few more in there.
Re: Man of the House
Thanks J! I think so too, and I love that time with him in the middle of the night (so peaceful)...just hopefully he stops it by the end of December when I return to work
