Anyone else having issues with sending a PM?

Several of us today have had issues when replying to a PM...it ends up saying user can't be found.  But if you use quick reply, that works.

Ok what is a pm?  Another poster said she sent me one, but I have no clue what it is, nor do I know ow to check it.  Can you help?  TIA!
