i've had both the seasonal and the h1n1 shots....but yesterday my throat hurt and my glands in my neck felt swollen, and today my body aches.  i'm going to try to leave work early and sleep it off, but...

 i don't want to get sick...that's why i got the shots in the first place!

Yup it can be the flu. Stay hydrated and I hope its just a quick cold

in previous years EVERY single time i got the flu shot I got a different strain of the flu during the season. Of course i still diligently line up for my flu shot.  That and I "assume" it was a different strain and not that the shot didn't work. Who knows.

To comfort you a bit I had a nasty cold 2 weeks ago that started out with a sore throat and achy muscles and headaches. It was relatively short lived though, no fever, and I'm pretty sure it was not the flu.

I had a cold with the same symptoms.  The shot is only about 75% effective, at least I think that is what someone said the other day.  Keep an eye on your temp., that would be a sign of the flu.

That's why I don't get the shot. That and I haven't been sick in 5 years.

Sore throat is not typical with H1N1, it's more associated with the common cold.

Thank you.  I think it was my favorite wedding picture because it shows how happy I was.

oh no no no! that sucks. i got the h1n1 but havent gotten around to the seasonal shot yet. and im starting to feel a little blah the last couple of days (actually since i got the shot monday. hm...) but im guessing mine could be bc im right on the verge on 3rd tri and maybe the symptoms are starting early..? not sure. just drink lots of juice with vitamin c. no one needs to be sick on top of being pregnant!
