Anyone see I survived......

There was an episode of I survived the other day where a lady that was like 38 weeks gets a call from a stranger that says she has a similar name and that she received her baby gifts from the store on accident and is pregnant too. Well she wasn't pregnant and had faked like 30+ pregnancy's in her lifetime. (Her whole family thought this lady was pregnant they even threw her a baby shower) The real pregnant lady comes to get the gifts and the psycho locks her in her house and then tries to stab her, long story short she gets away, and goes to the police. Police got to the house and find the psycho dead because she got stabbed in the fight and they find a whole surgical kit and chloroform. She was going to kill this lady, take her baby and pretend it was hers! Crazy !!!

I also saw this as a Snapped episode. The girl was crazy! They even tried to accuse the mother of being involved! Ugh, this stuff is so scary! Luckily she and baby were fine.

I also saw this on Snapped- the Sarah Brady/Sarah Brody episode.  What a psycho lady!  I guess she got hers in the end.

I have to say, it makes you think twice that just anybody could look up your baby registry, and info, online especially at all the big stores, bru, target, etc.

Unfortunately this is not as uncommon as most would think. There have been several women who were "trapped" the same way and ended up having their babies removed from them and then were left for dead.

I didn't see that one per se. I did see one where a woman has two miscarriages...walks out of her house and to the next door neighbors ( a little distance away) where a woman had just give birth a couple day earlier. She asks to use the phone because her car broke down. Once she gets inside the house she stabs the new mom one or two times in the back. Ties her to a chair and slits her throat. She takes the new baby and leaves the the other womans child in the the PnP. The new mom survives and has to walk like 1-2 miles with her 1 or 2 yr old son after just having a c-section to ask to her neighbor for help and to use her phone. I think the crazy lady had pulled the cord or something so she couldn't use her own phone.

i saw a movie with this similar story line on lifetime once.  i won't even buy baby stuff from people on craig's list because of it unless my fiance goes to get it with me.  i also saw a show where this lady posted an ad for baby clothes & the expectant mother went to pick them up and got kidnapped and the same thing almost happened to her.  people are crrrraaaazzzyyy

Yeah, see I don't trust anyone so I wouldn't think the woman was telling the truth in the first place....plus my name is spelled really differently, so I'd be suspicious of that!

I'm glad I have a rare last name, so I wouldn't believe that another person had the same name. But I'm naturally suspicious of people. I wouldn't go to a stranger's house alone and I don't let them in my house when I'm alone. I also don't talk to strangers. My momma taught me well.

Somebody just did that here a few months ago. Unfortunately she killed the mother and took out the baby who also died. The mother had just moved to our city and responded to a craigslist ad for baby clothes. It is such a horrible story. They are only charging her for one murder which is so wrong. She should be put to death! Sick sick person. It made me wonder at the time if she had seen that show and gotten ideas. Her name is Korena Roberts.

This is why I will not take my son to any homes off of craigslist and don't tell people that I am pregnant when I am looking I say it is for my best friend or a relative. It is a scary world out there and that story hit far too close to home.
