Prenatal Pilates?

So I'm thinking of signing up for this class.  I took pilates religiously before I got the BFP, but I've been a slug since then.  I know that I can buy a pg pilatets book etc, but I do better with a teacher and a class. Anyone else done this or prenatal yoga?

Re: Prenatal Pilates?

  • I haven't but I want to keep doing my pilates and get back into yoga as well! When I was pregnant before (MC 3/08) I had asked the Nurse Practitioner about it and she told me that basically I could keep doing what I was doing and my body would tell me when I couldn't do certain positions, etc. anymore because it would be uncomfortable or just plain impossible! I hope to find a good, affordable prenatal yoga class :D Let me know how it goes for you!

  • I have been doing my regular yoga and bought a prenatal yoga video. i think I'll do this until the 3rd tri and then look for a prenatal class to take. But, the prenatal pilates sounds fun

  • I used to do different pilates DVDs before BFP, but I just got the 10 Minute Solutions Prenatal Pilates- it has 5 different 10 minute routines that you can kinda mix and match. I have only done it a handful of times so far, but I really like it.
