I woke up this morning with my first back/hip pain experience. I'm already a hardcore side sleeper, so I didn't know if I'd end up needing another pillow or two. I don't like the idea of the giant Snoggle pillow because I already love the pillow that goes under my head ... I just need something for my knees/belly, and it seems that most of the stuff is made to help back and stomach sleepers.
So what's your miracle pillow?
Re: Side sleepers -- what do you recommend?
I use a down pillow on my right side to keep me from rolling onto my belly (I'm a belly sleeper usually). I like that it forms to my belly area and makes a nice little "nest" for it. As for hip pain, I used this during my last pregnancy, and I will use it again when/if my hip pain returns during this pregnancy:

i've always slept on my side and just used a king sized pillow or reg. body pillow, but once the pains started the only thing that's made me more comfy is my snoogle, the other pillows just didn't cut it anymore.
hubby loves my snoogle as well, and since he's on the night shift he's started sleeping with it durning the day when i'm up.
I have the boppy full body pillow but I saw in the little book that came with it that they make one that doesn't have the head part...just the belly and between the legs part...you might try that! here is the link to it on their website...

I have a regular (straight) body pillow that I got cheap at BBB and use to to sleep either on my side or partially on my stomach. It really helps with hip pain.
