Hi ladies! 1st U/S update!

Had our 1st u/s yesterday. Got to see our little gummy bear (Pic in siggy). with his or her little heart beating away at 168 bpm and measuring 8w5d!!! I cried the whole time, DH smiled the entire time and kept saying, wow, wow! All looks well and the Dr. is very optomistic (had a blighted ovum in March). Saying prayers that our little baby stays with us and remains healthy. What was even more sweet that it is finally more real for DH now. He told the baby goodnight last night, good morning today and couldnt stop looking at the picture of he or she on the fridge this morning. He's one proud Daddy!

it's probably the hormones but I was crying while reading your post and I'm not even a big crier. LOL.

I think it became more real for my BF when he saw the HB, too.  Like yours, he couldn't stop looking at the u/s photo.  It's so sweet.

I have to wait until I am 13 weeks to get my 1st ultrasound when I get the NT scan done!  The wait is killing me!
