severe indigestion and heartburn...is it just me?

sometimes i feel like the indigestion and heartburn is worse than nausea. i constantly feel like i have food stuck in the middle of my chest. i would give anything to burp like a heathen... sigh.

I'm with you! Some days its heartburn and other days I DO burp like a heathen. Either way, it ain't pretty.

Me, for sure.  Heartburn from dry toast really sucks.  Not to mention the bloating/gas cramps.  Ugh.

I'm with you, I have it, it sucks!  We had Mexican for lunch and now I have heart burn so bad!

Yep. It is horrible! I was on Prilosec before getting pregnant and had to stop. Ugh. Luckily my m/s isn't bad at all, but the heartburn is not fun. Dr said I could take Zantac (doesn't work for me) and Tums. Luckily Tums does the trick.

Hope it gets better for you soon, but I hear it just gets worse:-( There may be more options for treatment once out of first tri!

I have HORRIBLE indigestion & heartburn. I sometimes drink a Sprite or take a sip of my husband's coke to burp. Usually helps if I follow it with Tums. Most of the time it does the trick.! GL

Ugh, me too.  I drink a lot of Maalox, the advanced extra strength kind.

Me too- I ended up with prescription Zantac when pregnant with DD.  I will get it again if needed with this pregnancy.  Try Tums- or ask your DR for Zantac.  Hope you feel better soon.

My heartburn is HORRIBLE right now and I haven't eaten since lunch and all I had was a grilled chicken sandwich and some tater tots (school lunch).
