I was talking about this with some playgroup moms the other day so I'll ask here. If you were a boy, what were your parents going to name you? Most of us were born in the pre-u/s days so our gender was a complete surprise to our parents and most of them had probably agreed to a boy's name before we were born.
My name is Crystal. I was going to be Christopher if I was a boy. 2 years later when my brother was born, my parents were over Christopher and named him Jeffrey. He would have been Megan for a girl.
Re: What would your name be if you had been a boy?
they couldn't agree on a girl name for me and i almost left the hospital without one. my name is genevieve.
if i had been a boy, my name would have been trevor. i'm not the biggest fan of that name. it reminds me of a boy i didn't like in kindergarten
I was going to be Michael Leo.
As a matter of fact, they never decided on a girl name when I was born, only a boy. So when I came out a girl my family all put names in a hat! Of course in the end my mom over ruled them all and used the name she wanted, Nicole.

My mom also only chose a boy name. They thought for sure I would be a boy and then had a the hardest time choosing a name that grandmother approved of! They went with Lisa Ann
Daniel Paul
Two years later my parents had a little boy and named him exactly that.
I would have been named Seth if I had been a boy!
My real name is Aubrey, thanks to my dad!
My mom wanted to name me Hillary!

WYNDELL!
Thank the dear lord I was a girl.
I was almost a Hillary too! I think if I was a boy I would have been a Gregory.
My name is Blair. I would have been Brock. DH's middle name is Brock & that's what we will name our LO if it's a boy.
They thought my sister was a boy. They left the hospital with a girl and went with Brooke. Close enough I guess!
My mom thought I was a boy til the day I was born... I still have the green puppy dog bedding she had for me lol.
My name would have been Nicholas Ryan Addison.

Well, you've been to third base, so, they got that right (JK)
I was going to be Neil. Even better I was also going to be Neil as a girl. My mother met some "amazing" woman named Neil and she wanted to pass on that gift to me. Thank goodness they had second thoughts. After I was born I had no name for three days and then they finally agreed to name me Paige.
