This kid better be amazing ;)

Let me preface this by saying I am not normally a big drinker although this (small) vent will make it sound like it!

Last weekend one of my best friends got married & all of our group was together for the festivities (something that happens once a year at MOST!). There was a great open bar & everyone was living it up and having a great time.....except for me Sad  I couldn't participate in the drunken crazy time they all had and actually ended up spending half the night in the bathroom with m/s.

It stunk but totally worth it for this kiddo...

Now I just got a call from my other best friend who is coming to visit next month (first time I've seen her since we moved in July!!!) and her & her boyfriend found this huge amazing Christmas Pub crawl that is happening that weekend. It sounds amazing (4000 people and 32 bars....a huge Chicago party!) and I don't want to say "no" since I know they really want to do it. So it sounds like we will all be going and I will be the DD. BUMMER!!

The things we do for the LOs! This kid better be amazing & love to sleep! Wink

**just to clarify she does know that I'm pg & didn't want to mention it since she knows I can't drink but I can tell when she is hiding something and forced it out of her! I want them to have fun since they are the guests that week!

    aww I'm sorry!  But I guess you could look at it as good practice... because while you'll still be able to hang with friends when LO comes,  it won't be nearly as often, ya know?

     You're right,  it'll all be soooo worth it! :)

    I did the SAME thing last weekend!! On top of it I had to try to hide the fact that I wasnt drinking - harder than it looks.

    I so feel your pain.  When I was about 6 weeks or so I was in my bff's wedding.  She had EVERYONE there, friends from out of state that are never ever all together in once place, awesome open bar and party.  And I was so tired by about 8pm and all my friends I hadn't seen in years partying it up together.  It is all worth it though :)
