Anyone pass glucose test and then find out you had GD later?

I know this is a weird question but the peri was talking to me about my Procardia side effects today and I mentioned that in the past few weeks I have been so thirsty that I cannot eat - I just want to drink, drink, drink.

He looked at my record and I was 5 points below failing my glucose test and suggested I retake it. I see my OB next Wed so I am going to ask him about it.

Thought that was interesting.

I got that thirsty thing too, my OB said it was the babies taking more water. I would have retaken the test if she thought I needed to though.

My friend passed her test but found out when she delivered a 10lbs 4oz baby at 36 weeks that she had it. She did not have any signs though. Oh, and the baby was big and healthy!
